Portraits of Celina Review

Bayley has lost her father in an accident.  The mother being distraught relocates the family back to their hometown to an abandoned countryside home by the lake that the owned by their family.  This house is a wreck.  No one has lived there for 40 years, since the disappearance and death of Celina.
Bayley gets her deceased cousin’s Celina’s room.  Celina disappeared 40 years ago and her soul has not been able to rest.  Ever since Bayle arrived, Celina's ghost has been haunting her.  She hasn't been able to move on to the afterlife.  She wants revenge and she will use Bayley to do it.
While organizing her room, she finds a wooden chest.  Wavering whether to do it not, she opens it! Welcome to Pandora’s Box…
Bayley finds herself not only sleeping in Celina’s room, but wearing her clothes, and hearing her voice everywhere. She knows more than she thinks.
Bayley is possessed by her dead cousin Celina.  She begins trying to find out what exactly happened to her followed by the clues her cousin gives here.  Why was she killed?  Who killed her?  And who will suffer because of it?
There is some romance.  Bayley meets Oliver and they automatically hit it off.  His gramps is a bit awkward though.  There is something seriously wrong with that man.  Why does he act weird every time he sees Bayley?
Read on to find out!
It was an incredible story.  I couldn’t put it down.  I enjoyed the plot, the pace was perfect and the characters were likeable.  Not going to give away the ending, but boy did it have twists and turns; kept me on the edge of my seat.  Loved it!  Looking forward to the author’s next book.
Thanks NetGalley for the opportunity!
